Recommended bowl: Golden time

The translation of the Japanese kanji for the word Kintoki means ‘golden time’, and that’s exactly what you get when you are in this shop. It's small and simple, run by a sole master, with a ticket machine to place your order. There are chicken-based bowls of shoyu and shio ramen, served with a clear soup. The shio is probably the number one recommendation, made with butter. An added bonus, a spicy shirunashi tantanmen is also on the menu. The shop has a strong following and is known to close early when ingredients run out. Open since 2012.
