Recommended bowl: XXL chashu
Horiuchi is run by Horiuchi-san, who apprenticed at Manrai, which is located just a few feet away. Horiuchi and Manrai serve almost the exact same menu— a chicken and pork-based soup with a salty shoyu tare. The ramen and tsukemen are both popular, as well as the chashumen, which comes piled with meat. There's also a natto ramen available for fermented bean lovers.
