Recommended bowl: Renegade chicken
This is the second brand of the well-known shop Menson Rage in Nishi-Ogikubo, run by master Hirota-san. Here diners have the choice of shio (or shoyu) based soup, made from five varieties of chickens, including Okazaki Ohan and Goto 360, plus gyokai. Niboshi Soba also on the menu, using a soup with fish, kombu, and other ocean ingredients. No MSG. The shoyu contains a tare with three varieties of soy sauce. Noodles by Mikawaya Seimen.
