Recommended bowl: Tori paitan shack

Almost more of a makeshift shack than a real restaurant, Nagata is tucked away on a quiet back alley of Kameido. Rich and smooth, almost milky tori paitan soup is made with chicken, pork and vegetables. Choice of shio, shoyu or miso tare, with noodles ordered from Mikawaya Seimen. Toppings include torched aburi chashu pork belly and ajitamago. Only open for lunch, 11am-3pm. Since 2010.
