Recommended bowl: Chinese influence

A Chinese food and tantanmen specialty shop, the bowls here are sesame based with chili oil and topped with spicy minced pork. Spice level is adjustable. Thin straight noodles by Nakanishi Seimen are cooked slightly al dente. The chef previously ran a Chinese restaurant and was also a reviewer on the website Tabelog, where he went by the handle 'Ikenomedaka.' So when he opened this shop he chose the name 'Medaka.'
