Recommended bowl: Since 1961
This old-school shack has been around since 1961. Run by a husband and wife team, the shop has direct connections to the legendary ramen shop Maruchō in Ogikubo, open since 1947. You will find old-school Tokyo style shoyu ramen on the menu complete with house-made noodles. No MSG. Recommended on the side is the half-size fried rice and gyoza. Both ramen and tsukemen are available, as well as an array of Chinese style dishes. A nostalgic gem.
