Recommended bowl: Hokkaido style

Located up a staircase on the 2nd floor, this shop is run by Takeda-san, who is from Furano, Hokkaido. She originally opened the shop with her husband, but her nephew now helps run operations. Old-school and nostalgic, with both Chūka and Hokkaido influences on the menu. The most popular bowl might be the Shinsen Miso Ramen, consisting of pork based soup, miso tare, light spices and sesame seeds, all heated in a wok before being served. Noodles were previously ordered from Nishiyama, but now get shipped in directly by Sapporo Seimen. Open since 1994.
