Recommended bowl: Hakata pork goodness

Nagahama style tonkotsu, about as good as you can find outside of Kyushu. The 100% pork based soup is made from bones, heads and feet, and takes two days to make. Thin straight noodles are supplied by the Torio Noodle Company and shipped in from Fukuoka. Originally this shop was called Moriya, opened in 2009, and run by master Moriya-san, who trained at the legendary tonkotsu shop Tanaka Shouten. In 2014, the shop moved to its current location and Moriya-san decided to let his disciple take over, and the shop became Ikki. For Kyushu style tonkotsu, a highly ranked and recommended shop.
