Recommended bowl: Housemade noodles

Matsuo in Adachi-ku serves bowls with a soup of pork, chicken and gyokai. Aburasoba, ramen and tsukemen are all on the menu, with the tsukemen or aburasoba recommended so one can fully enjoy the springy house-made noodles. Various portion sizes, spicy options, even curry options. Officially the shop has only eight counter seats, however there is a makeshift space for another four seats practically in the kitchen. Open since November 2009.
