Recommended bowl: Beef ramen & gyoza

A small countryside shop, known for the gyoza dumplings as much as the ramen. The soup is gyukotsu, made with beef bones, beef fat and gyokai, along with shoyu tare. Noodles are ordered from Murakami Seimenjo, a local supplier based in nearby Onomichi. The house-made gyoza are highly recommended and ordered by many of their customers. They are extra thin and crispy, packed with pork and garlic chives. A family-fun business for three generations. Open since 1951.
