Recommended bowl: New school tori-soba

One of the highest ranked shops in Kyoto. Master Sodeoka-san trained at another renowned ramen shop prior to opening, and is a major ramen head with loads of connections in the scene. Fresh, house-made, organic noodles. Perfectly blended chicken soup and shoyu tare. Choice toppings. Ramen, tsukemen, mazesoba and seasonal specials always available. There is almost always a line here and for good reason — this place is outstanding.
