Recommended bowl: Creamy & boisterous

Formerly just called Ichiryū, this shop added the "Ishida" (which is the name of the local area) just a few years ago. A widely beloved countryside shop, Ishida Ichiryū is now run by second-generation master Niimori-san. The boisterous and friendly shop staff will blast you loud greetings as you enter the premises. The soup here is creamy and delectable porky goodness, and the bowls are topped with slices of aburi pork chashu that come out sizzling from fresh bouts under the blowtorch. Options for soup include both light or thick, the bowls come with all of the typical toppings for tonkotsu ramen in the region. The noodles are supplied by Abe Seimen. A highly ranked shop and one on many ramen heads' hit lists.
