A family run, old-school legend shop amongst Fukuoka locals. The Hakata style soup is made from pork skin and whole pig heads. Bowls come piled with negi and kikurage, but you can order more if desired. Free takana spicy pickled greens, beni shōga (pickled ginger) and vinegar condiments. The president of Ippudo Kawahara-san once was a regular customer of this spot back in the day. Open since 1965.
