Nestled on the side of a pachinko parlor, this ramen shop is legendary amongst locals, many of whom have been coming for multiple decades. The soup is pure Fukuoka style tonkotsu, consisting of a smooth rich pork bone soup along with moto-dare. The master previously worked as a noodle maker, hence the noodles are house-made. Each bowl is laden with hearty amounts of MSG and melted lard, giving it a bright yellow color. White rice is recommended to go with your soup. No spoons—must drink directly from the bowl. Open since 1970.
