Recommended bowl: Aizu legend

One of the most famous and legendary ramen shops in the Aizu area. Originally opened in 1972, remodeled and reopened in 2015, near Ashinomakionsen Station. The master here is Satō-san, third generation owner and grandson of the original master. He trained and worked at the shop for years before eventually taking over. The soup is a clear broth of pork, chicken, niboshi and vegetables. Customers can choose from two kinds of noodles, both provided by the supplier Konishi Seimen. The shop hours are 9am to 3pm on weekdays, 8am to 3pm on weekends. They also serve yakitori, which is popular amongst the regular customers. Second branch now open in Wakamatsu City, Aizu.
