Hitting up a proper beef place joint on the edge of Gion in Kyoto. No frills, unpretentious and a massive bubbling pot of beef stew, which, on a winter's night is pretty much the best thing on earth. Combined with one of the friendliest staff around, and one of the most delicious cuts of beef I've had, this place is one to satisfy the beef urge.
