@mortenskrodk is a culinary institution in Aalborg. For more than 25 years, @mortenkok has spoiled his guests and he continues to do so. The restaurant is famous for its blue lights, white furniture and provoking art pieces. Morten has never chosen the happy medium but always stayed true to his own ideas and taste. That could very well be the reason why this place is still relevant.
A couple of years ago, Mortens Kro opened for lunch as well with a nice selection of smørrebrød, which I tried during my visit in Aalborg.
1. Beef tartar with truffle mayonnaise
2. Chicken salad with bacon and mushrooms
3. Læsø langoustines with dried tomatoes and avocado
