Dubai’s best Woodfire grill. A few of my favourite starters and desserts from the other day. The beef tartare here is excellent. Hand-chopped fillet of beef, combined with shiitake mushrooms, preserved lime, chives, jalapeño, oscietra caviar and Woodfired sourdough. It’s a very well put together dish - a nice balance of flavours with added oomph from the cav. The jalapeño heat and preserved lime worked really well with it. The red prawn crudo with pineapple gazpacho, endive and corriander is also delicious - sweet and fresh - a great taste bud refresher before the heavier main courses. The roasted bone marrow is excellent too - cooked in the fire chamber with a soy and curry leaf glaze. A Rich, salty, umami beef butter that’s spread over their warm, deep fried brioche. Will post more about the steak and mains separately. As for dessert, I’d recommend the milk & white chocolate basque cheesecake and crème brûlée. Beautifully made and the perfect way to finish. No alcohol here so plan accordingly #notoriousfoodie 🙅🏽‍♂️
