The best bowl of ramen I had in Russia was a simple bowl of shio ramen from Aziatish, an Asian concept restaurant on the ground floor of a Soviet-era hotel in Novosibirsk, Siberia. Why so good? The night before we had downed a few bottles of wine and chased it with vodka. The Last Day of Pompeii by Bryullov shown was about the level of brain pain. That shio ramen fixed me right up.
