Coche reds are always a bit of a mix bag.. if I'm not mistaken, the final vintage that Coche released for this wine.. not sure what happened to it after though. Fruity tootie nose with bright red berries and vanilla but the palate was rather uninteresting. Whites are definitely preferred. The simple 2012 Claude Dugat village was the winner for the night... very distinctly Claude Dugat.. meaty, robust and earthy with a plum and cherry core. Decent acidity and structure.
