After a long day of rib-sampling, wrapped up in Birmingham with splendid Mediterranean plates at @bottegabham. Figaro, Figaro cocktail to start, then ginger-laced fried oysters, rich butter beans & lady peas, grilled quail over sweet corn polenta, and the standout: tender ravioli with sweet corn fonduta and golden chanterelles. Fortunately saved enough room for baked Alaska and Madeira. Cheers to Chef Julio and team for a great evening.
