2 Secrets Wine Lovers Should Know Before Visiting CHIUnE
⁡
1️⃣ A private dinner can become your own bespoke wine journey
⁡
Planning an intimate celebration or a serious wine gathering? Ask about arranging a tailored wine-tasting course. The key is to share your overall wine budget in advance, then allow Chef Satoshi and the team to shape an experience around it. This is not just about matching red with meat or white with fish. A truly memorable pairing considers texture, temperature, aroma, acidity, spice, seasonality and the emotional rhythm of the entire meal. Tell the team whether you lean toward Champagne, Burgundy, mature Bordeaux expressions—or whether you would rather be surprised. CHIUnE is associated with a deep cellar, reportedly holding as many as 800 bottles, including notable well-matured and collectible wines.

2️⃣ There is a hidden wine-bar moment waiting after dinner
⁡
Do not rush to leave once the final course is cleared. Ask Chef Satoshi if he can bring you to the hidden wine bar inside the restaurant. Designed by acclaimed Japanese interior designer Yasumichi Morita, the space offers a more intimate continuation of the evening. Morita is known for creating dramatic, highly atmospheric hospitality interiors. For collectors, sommeliers and anyone who believes the best wine memories happen after the formal tasting notes end, this is the detail to remember. Ask politely, stay curious, and let the night unfold beyond the table.
