If there was ever an iconic yakitori place, this would be it. The owner basically set the standard for grilling chicken in the world and has a group of restaurants to show for it. His style leans on the more toasty side of things, with larger than 'normal' pieces that only stop when you say STOP".
Definitely in my top 5 for Tokyo and if you don't consider the challenges of booking, well worth the visit for sure. Just keep an open stomach.
