Recommended bowl: Nagahamaya style

One of a handful of shops in Hakata with similar names and menus, Ganso Nagahamake serves 100% pork based 'Nagahama' style soup, utilizing pig heads and meat. When Nagahamake first opened, it was located across the street from Nagahamaya, but later on both shops eventually closed and moved elsewhere. There was even a lawsuit that came up over the rights to use the name, with a couple of other shops apparently involved as well.
