@thongsmith.hk has arrived in Hong Kong! My favorite boat noodle in Bangkok has expanded with its first international location in Wan Chai on Spring Garden Lane. Stepping into the restaurant immediately reminded me of Bangkok - the modern yet rustic interior is similar with comfortable seating and ample AC. Even the way you order is the same by filling out a paper form. The HK menu mirrors Bangkok’s but with exclusive dishes such as Karn’s Fried Rice (named after co-founder Karn Kittivech), Chalee’s Chicken ‘Ko Lae’ by Chef @chaleekader of 1* @wana.yook, and my favorite - Thai-phoon Beef with beef strips tossed in sweet fish sauce. Of course, the signature boat noodle with Australian Wagyu beef and broth that has been simmered for 8 hours is available along with a variety of appetizers, skewers, salad, noodles, rice, and desserts.
Officially opening this Wednesday on March 18th - operating hours are from Monday to Sunday, 11:30am to 10pm.
