Almada Bakery @almadabakery in Kensal Rise is a great new Portuguese bakery. The pastel de nata is probably the best in London. When asked how they make them so good, the response was: “We use a bit of lemon and cinnamon in the custard and also use cinnamon water when shaping them which I believe makes a small difference. I also think the ingredients we use make our Natas the best they can be, estate dairy cultured butter, shipton mill flour and estate dairy milk. Happy they don’t go unnoticed 💛”.
