A lovely plate of ultra thin wagyu fillet, topped with seasonal pickled mushrooms, pine nuts, umami aioli and black truffle. The beef was beautifully marbled with the pickled mushrooms cutting straight through its richness. This is a great Italian in Mayfair, first time I’ve actually eaten here. Go heavy on the starters, for me these were the best. The pane al tartufo was delicious. Grilled focaccia, truffle ricotta, truffle honey and fresh black truffle with a sprinkling of peperoncino. Truffle overload but balanced and satisfying. Will need to go back to explore more of the menu but so far so good #notoriousfoodie 🙅🏽♂️
