I visited on a holiday at 6 PM. The restaurant was fully booked with reservations.First, I was served tuna nigiri, which is exceptional when you're most hungry. The rice is made with red vinegar, giving it a nice balance of acidity and saltiness, along with a rich umami flavor. After the tuna, a variety of appetizers followed, and among them, the fried sweetfish in dashi was outstanding. Here’s what I had:Medium Fatty TunaMako FlounderFried Conger EelCorn Egg TofuSteamed AbaloneGrilled EelFried Sweetfish in DashiKarasumi KuzusomenSquidBotan ShrimpMarinated Spanish MackerelMarinated Lean TunaMedium Fatty TunaFatty TunaShoko (young horse mackerel)Purple Sea UrchinSoupCucumber and Pickled Radish RollEggThere were no gimmicks, just straightforwardly delicious dishes. I hope to visit each season to try various offerings. The egg was hot, wobbly, and full of dashi flavor, making for a perfect finish. Everything was delicious until the end. They also asked if I wanted to add more. Many guests ordered the kappa roll, which piqued my interest, but since I had the cucumber and pickled radish roll, I didn’t add anything else. The pacing of the dishes was great, and the drinks were served promptly, making for a stress-free experience. I enjoyed my time for just over an hour and a half.I had three glasses of beer and sake, and the total bill was around JPY 38,000. The quality at this price is astonishing. I usually don’t mention it, but this is what I consider good cost performance. I definitely want to visit again.
