京都の出町柳エリアにある喫茶店『コーヒーハウス マキ （COFFEE HOUSE maki）』へ。創業1996年、２代続く昔懐かしい雰囲気の喫茶店。朝の８時半の開店とともに、地元の人々だけでなく観光客でも賑わう人気店でございます。

人々を惹き寄せるのは名物の「モーニングセット」。

懐かしいけど新しい、新しいけど懐かしい、そんなアウトプットのトーストが名物。パンの耳を器にして、ゆで卵やハムやサラダが盛り付けられます。くり抜かれた部分はカリカリに焼きあげ、染み込んだバターの風味が口いっぱいに広がります。ハムやゆで卵をパンのお供にして食べすすめるもよし。
