Lunch, dinner, overnight stay, and breakfast at Els Casals in the town of Sagàs (~1.5 hour drive from Barcelona) headed by Chef Oriol Rovira. This place is the "Blue Hill at Stone Barns" of Spain. The cuisine comes from its own farm that provides the majority of their produce such as vegetables, fruit, eggs, milk, poultry, pork, mushrooms, truffles, etc. The dining room has been decorated in traditional-style using wood from centuries-old oak trees. There are also 10 cozy rooms for guests to stay overnight. The experience can be summed up as rustic, pleasant, simple, welcoming, and homely. It'll remain one of our best and most favorite culinary experiences ever in Spain. An absolute must visit for anyone serious about food!
