Fäviken is remotely located on a hunting lodge and farm in Northern Sweden. There's nothing else happening in the area except this 12 seat restaurant. What Chef Magnus Nillson has created is nothing short of magic. The journey started long before the meal; we booked our table back in March and we had to make a special detour to get here, taking a flight to Trondheim (Norway) and then driving 5 hours roundtrip.

Last visited Fäviken in December 2015, when the nights were long with just a few hours of daylight and the temperature hit below freezing. Fast forward to the summer, there is almost constant daylight with the sun never setting below the horizon. It's also much warmer. We're very happy to be back to say the least.
