Dinner at 2* Sojiki Nakahigashi (草喰 なかひがし), a kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto. The Chef and Owner Hisao Nakahigashi goes out into the mountains and fields every morning to collect his ingredients for the day. His goal is to make a good meal with everything blessed by this beautiful earth. Currently, the restaurant is ranked #2 in all of Kyoto on Tabelog. We really enjoyed our experience here; it felt like having a home cooked meal in someone's home!
