Chefs/Partners @johnmhong and @katiannahong’s cooking takes multiple influences from their joint Korean heritage, California ingredients and gastronomy, and years spent toiling in Michelin-starred kitchens. Their eclectic cuisine combines the best of their individual upbringing as well as shared experiences, allowing matzoh ball soup to share the same menu as tteok. As such, this Arts District establishment is more richly nuanced than a simple hyphenated label. Yangban Society represents both the current and future American restaurant 🇰🇷🇺🇸
