If you are on the hunt for authentic poke in Oahu, “Ono Seafood” in the vibrant Kapahulu area of Honolulu is a must-visit spot🎣 This family-run establishment has been serving up some of the island’s best poke since 1995, with a focus on freshness and quality🐠 All pokes are served in takeout boxes, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at the terrace seating or at the beach🌊

We opted for the “Shoyu Ahi” and “Miso Ahi”combination, served on brown rice💓 The former features tender chunks of ahi tuna marinated in a perfectly balanced shoyu sauce, while the latter offers a unique twist with a rich, sweet-and-savoury miso marinade🤤 Each bowl is served with a side of rice, making it a satisfying meal that captures the essence of Hawaiian comfort food🏝️

ハワイのオアフ島の「Waikiki（ワイキキ）」エリアのグルメストリート「Kapahulu（カパフル）」通りにある、ポケの名店「Ono Seafood（オノ・シーフード）」🌈 1995年に創業された老舗では新鮮な鮪や蛸を使ったポケが人気です✨ 今回頂いたのは「Shoyu Ahi（鮪の醤油漬け）」と「Miso Ahi（鮪の味噌漬け）」を玄米の上にたっぷり乗せたバージョン🍚 特に後者は甘塩辛い味わいが病みつきになり、オススメです🫶 ハワイドーナツのマサラダで有名な @leonardsbakeryhawaii にも近いので、一石二鳥です🍩
