I finally visited Akasaka Ogino, a long-awaited experience.From start to finish, I was constantly impressed by the meticulous craftsmanship and the way they brought out the true flavors of the ingredients.What stood out the most was the summer specialty, perfect for this season. It was a dish that combined refreshing seasonal blessings with a robust character, and the moment I took a bite, I was captivated by the aroma and deep umami that unfolded. The precision in the dashi preparation and cooking techniques truly shone through.And of course, at Ogino, the highlight is the rice dishes to finish off the meal. This is where they really shine!They were so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating and ended up trying all the varieties. The cooking and seasoning variations were remarkable, and even though I was full, each dish slid down effortlessly. Each one offered a different experience, making it a truly blissful finale.From the warm hospitality of Chef Ogino and the staff to the comfortable atmosphere, everything was top-notch. I definitely want to return in a different season; this is a memorable restaurant that will stay in my mind. It was a great meal!
