I was assigned to one of the exceptions, Morgan, as a tribute to the estate's owner, J.P. Morgan. When I first walked in, I initially planned on utilizing only a portion of the available area. However, at the conclusion of the five-day retreat, I found myself incredibly appreciative of the accommodations. The couch became my sanctuary after long hikes, the white wooden desk with its view of the grounds provided the perfect setting for my nightly journaling, and the bathtub was an unexpected luxury that I don't have in my city apartment. Additionally, the breathtaking view of the sunrise over the lake from my four windows at 5:30 a.m. was an exceptional bonus.
