I am seriously bummed about the closing of Sanook Thai, one of Long Island’s fiercest Thai spots that was owned by immigrants from Northern Thailand and Laos. They closed this December, and could not be reached for comment.

But there’s a silver lining … The new spot, @pavirinthaibistro , serves an epic fried fish platter for $39.95. As you can see, it’s worth the trip to Hicksville.
