Shizuoka Prefecture isn’t far from Tokyo on the bullet train, but most people just pass through on their way to Kyoto or Osaka. Speaking as someone who lives in Japan, Shizuoka isn’t to be missed. Beautiful nature, Japan’s best craft beer scene, and some hidden gem ramen shops. Sasuke serves a solid bowl of fancy chicken ramen.
