らーめん 香澄 (Kasumi in Osaka)
I’ve been seeing these signs a lot recently. I made it a mission in 2022 to complete the list of Japan’s Top 100 ramen shops (actually 300) called the Hyakumeiten (百名店). Yes, I finished, thanks to spending around 40 days in Osaka over the course of a year. Kasumi is no rookie to this list, having been given “Best Ramen” awards since well before this list existed. Their niboshi mazesoba, sans soup, is an easy bowl to crush.
I'm currently breaking down the Top 100 #hyakumeiten #百名店 shops from around Japan. This one is 22/100 on the Osaka list.
