A family runned restaurant with modern Hungarian cuisine in the city centre of Eger, closed to the entrance of the famous castle.
The sage flavoured pumpkin soup and the ragout soup with porcini mushrooms for starter were very promising after everything went downhill. The Mouflon spine was over very over cooked therefore it has lost all it's juicy tenderness. The braised beef cheek was so overwhelming with the smoked,-salty taste, that it was inedible, so we had to send it back and have it replaced with a roasted duck breast.
As this restaurant is listed as one of the best restaurants of the region by the Gault & Millau, we were hoping for a much better culinary experience, just mediocre.
