I enjoyed a spring course meal close to the Tango no Sekku festival. The dish featured a variety of spring ingredients, presented in interesting combinations, and the plating was very beautiful. However, I was a bit disappointed that the rice dish was made with soft-shelled turtle. Many Chinese people do not eat soft-shelled turtle, and since it was a rare dish, I wasn't able to inform them in advance about my dislike for it. I had mentioned in the notes that I preferred a counter seat and that it was a birthday celebration, but there was no special acknowledgment of that. Other than that, the service was good.
