Located in Ise City, "Sushi Komada" is easily accessible from Osaka via Kintetsu, just a 10-minute walk from the station. The restaurant is nestled in a charming, traditional streetscape. Before my visit, I enjoyed a cup of coffee at a nearby café.The owner trained at "Ara Kaki," a restaurant that has earned three Michelin stars, and has also received a gold award on Tabelog, making it a renowned establishment. Inside, there are only six seats, and the restaurant operates with just one seating per day, making reservations quite challenging. The sushi rice has a slight tang and a hint of saltiness. Many of the ingredients are sourced from Mie Prefecture, and the shellfish, in particular, was exceptionally delicious. The hospitality from the owner was very warm, creating a comforting atmosphere that felt like coming home.
