I finally visited "Tomato" in Ogikubo, which I had been curious about for a long time.I ordered the "Beef Tongue Curry" and was shocked to discover that it was completely different from any curry I had ever tasted. They use 36 different spices, resulting in a rich and flavorful European-style curry, followed by a burst of aromatic spices. The thick, melt-in-your-mouth beef tongue was exquisite, and the raisins and cheese on the rice provided the perfect accent.However, be prepared for the price, which starts at around JPY 2,000 for a single plate of curry, and expect to wait in line for several hours. This place may not be suitable for those focused on cost-effectiveness or looking for a quick meal. Still, the unique flavor is worth the wait at least once.
