I finally visited the long-awaited "Kikuno I Main Branch." It was difficult to make a reservation, and I had to wait 2 to 3 months to dine here. The friendly owner was more approachable than I had imagined, and the dishes, which incorporated innovative elements, were plentiful. I was impressed by how each dish felt like a step above the rest. This was the best Kyoto cuisine I have ever had. I’m so glad I came to Kikuno I, and I left feeling completely satisfied.
