I had lunch at Muromachi Wakuden.Although the counter seating creates a casual atmosphere, the dishes all felt exceptionally refined.It was enjoyable to watch the cooking right in front of me, and the warm dishes were served piping hot.Initially, I thought the freshly cooked rice was a bit on the soft side, but it seems they account for it firming up a bit while kept warm in the clay pot.The rice dishes included sea bream sushi, dried shrimp with simmered eggs, and udon in shabu-shabu broth.
