A Famous Tempura RestaurantThis place uses a lot of fresh ingredients from Shizuoka, and the quality is outstanding. My favorite was the seasoned horse mackerel. It was larger than the usual ones, completely free of any fishy smell, and absolutely delicious. There were no disappointing dishes; everything was tasty.I also think the tea room experience after the meal is wonderful, as it really captures the essence of Japanese culture. You can even step outside to enjoy the garden view. However, I do feel that as a tempura restaurant, it is quite pricey. With the pairing and transportation costs from Tokyo, it exceeded JPY 80,000.
