I had been curious about this restaurant for a while after hearing about it on YouTube. This place operates on a completely reservation-only basis, with booking slots opening every Sunday at 4 PM on the reservation site OMAKASE for the following week. I was able to secure a reservation for my desired date and made my visit. Additionally, I paid a reservation fee of JPY 390 on the OMAKASE site.On the day of my visit, my train stopped unexpectedly, causing me to panic, but it eventually resumed after about a 15-minute delay. I arrived at the restaurant about 20 minutes before my 12 PM reservation.I purchased tickets for:- Wonton Soy Ramen, JPY 2,450, tax included- Meat Rice, JPY 650, tax includedat the ticket machine located at the restaurant. After that, the staff confirmed my tickets and reservation. At 12:05 PM, I was guided into the restaurant and seated at the counter. The counter seats were right in front of the open kitchen, allowing me to watch the chef, Shota Iida, prepare the dishes up close. The restaurant was also very clean.Around 12:13 PM, the ramen was served, followed by the meat rice about a minute later. The clear soy sauce broth, glistening with chicken fat, was delicious, combining the rich flavors of chicken and soy sauce. The thin, straight noodles were perfectly cooked, providing a smooth texture. They had a great mouthfeel and paired well with the broth. It was very tasty. The wontons were filled with a flavorful filling wrapped in a chewy skin, making them delightful. The tender chashu was also packed with flavor and incredibly delicious. The taste lived up to its reputation. The meat in the meat rice had a slight odor, but I didn’t notice it while eating. It was delicious, and the white rice itself was cooked perfectly. For individual ratings, I would give the wonton soy ramen a score of 4.3 and the meat rice a score of 3.9.It was a great meal!
