I had wanted to visit this place for a while, but it was too far from home, so I never got around to it. However, I finally had the chance to go thanks to an invitation. Yakiniku Seiryuuen in Kiyosumishirakawa is a popular restaurant that’s hard to book. It’s a family-run yakiniku restaurant with table seating. While they can accommodate groups, I found that a table for four is the most comfortable. Since I was with someone who frequents this place, I left some of the ordering to them. We started with the medium beef tongue, which had beautiful marbling. After grilling it just right, we enjoyed it with sesame oil and salt. It was tender and had a wonderful texture—nothing was overpowering. I could really feel the quality of the meat and the skill in its preparation. I was absolutely convinced of its excellence. Everything we ordered was a hit, and each dish was carefully crafted, making it easy to enjoy our drinks as well. Everything was delicious. One dish I highly recommend is the egg soup. I’ve had many soups at yakiniku restaurants, but this egg soup is in a league of its own. It seems to be made only with egg yolks, and it’s so smooth and light without any overpowering flavors. You really have to try it; I want to share this experience. I was also very satisfied with the off-menu items we ordered. The service was attentive, allowing us to enjoy our meal until the end. After experiencing the food, I completely understand why it’s so hard to get a reservation here. Now I see why it’s a popular spot. I hope to come back if I can get a reservation again. It was delicious! It was a great meal! I highly recommend visiting this place at least once! ⭐️ *Payment is cash only.
