Himuro Pork & Premium Tenderloin PorkThe dishes, including salads and pickles, were well-prepared, which was a nice touch. The taste was generally good, but I wished for a bit more hospitality. Despite being a restaurant that handles oil, there was no designated place to put bags, and no baskets available. I had to either place my bag directly on the floor or squeeze it between the chairs. There were also not enough sets with soy sauce and mustard, so if the person next to me had been unfamiliar with the setup, they might not have been able to use them. The biggest issue was the reservation process. Since it’s a popular restaurant, I had to go there at 8:30 AM to make a reservation for lunch or dinner. I was only told to call back later to confirm my lunch choice. There was no indication of what time I should return, so I had to go back and ask, only to find out it was the second seating around noon. The restaurant opens at 11 AM, so I returned around 11:40 AM to wait inside.Honestly, I don’t think I’ll go through this overly complicated reservation process just to eat their tonkatsu again. If it were a five-minute walk from my house, I might reconsider.
