On my first visit, I started with the "Roka Plate." Reservations begin at 9:30, but I stopped by around 10:30 on a whim and luckily found an opening, securing a spot for 13:40 (the restaurant accommodates up to six people per seating). Payments are cash only, and while take away is available, it seems to be quite competitive, indicating its popularity. The Roka Plate costs JPY 1,250, and I chose the classic chicken curry. The spice curry was so delicious that I can see why it could become addictive, making it feel like a great deal, which explains the many repeat customers. Regulars were greeted by name, adding to the homey atmosphere. The only downside was that being in the basement, I couldn't connect to Rakuten Mobile. Also, it seems they provide handwritten receipts instead of printed ones. It was a great meal!
